Go, do the things, enjoy the sunshine! Also, don’t forget to keep up those healthy therapeutic habits and skills in all the excitement! Remember: Therapy happens outside of sessions too.
We are here when summer winds down, but we’re here before then as well. Don’t stress about needing an earlier appointment. In the meantime, check out the article below for some helpful tools our therapists use and recommend. Written by McKayla Robinson, MS, PLMFT McKayla is a Therapist at Healing Reflections Therapy. As part of the National Partnership for Ending Interpersonal Violence (NPEIV), I have committed myself to the cause of ending violence across the lifespan. Along with my colleagues Dr. Pearl Berman, Joyce Thomas, Dr. Karen Rich, Susan Omilian and I recently worked in collaboration to present a webinar series on addressing the impact of violence in Pennsylvania communities, with emphasis on trauma-informed care related interventions. You can watch the video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bafhxI6PIlc&t=6s to learn more or tune into NPEIV's youtube channel to watch the video series that follows up on resilience.
